Rated 3 out of 5 by from Costs to Much I like Turbo Tax and have used them for the past 8 years, but with 2020 being a difficult year for everyone, I feel that the cost of filing was way too much. State and Federal agencies are not helping in this area either. I want tax preparers to be paid, but if I'm doing all the work, and entering in information on my own, it should cost less. I was shocked to see that there was an electric filing fee on this year's taxes. That really made me upset. For someone who was out of work the last 6 months of 2020, I need all the money I can get to get caught up on bills.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ITS CONFUSING HOW I ENDED UP PAYING $125 I signed up for a $40 dollar service and ended up paying $125. still unclear as to how it was added on. won't ber using turbo tax again. GOOD BYE!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Confusing I filed using TurboTax last year, but had to look up information you should have had. Also, according to my income my return should have been free, but because the program would not accept my miscellaneous income I had to upgrade to another version. Since the form from the Department of Treasury did NOT have an EIN number, but I was told that the income was taxable I entered it under gambling to make sure I reported it. Since I was issued miscellaneous income on a form without an EIN others must receive it this way also, but your program does not make allowances for situations like that. $40 for income under $15,000 is totally ridiculous!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It gets better and better I had to change the turbo tax edition I needed to use this year and usually I have to create a new account but this time I was able to change the edition without losing my prior year history. I love how turbo tax makes its product easier and easier to use every year by making it ridiculously easy for its user to file income taxes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great i had the most trouble i have ever had with turbo tax this year. i fought to get my soc.sec money info entered. then three times i struggled to bypass the option to upgrade the program. i felt you were trying to force me to upgrade thus spending more money.
