Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax State had a glitch for Virginia efiling This year VA state had a glitch which would not allow me to file my state taxes electronically. After spending more than 15 hours with various Turbo Tax techs I finally got Bobbie on the line who after more than 2 hours finally figured out a workaround the system to allow me to efile VA. This has been a very painful experience. Have been using Turbo Tax for many years but this was the first year that i have had this issue. Very frustrating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible I've been using it for years. It never is able to transfer over old personal data. This year, it said that it didn't even recognize my email or that I filed a 2019 1040 with them, EVEN THOUGH THEY EMAILED ME TO NOTIFY ME THAT IT WAS TIME TO FILE FOR 2020! The info that they ask for is excessive and intrusive (such as on this page). They try to lock you into buying additional products and it take a long time to go back to reverse what you may have chosen to do. I could have done my return myself in half the time. I'll look for a new company next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax did the job on a Form 1041 submission This year Intuit TurboTax Business did a thorough and sufficient job helping me take care of an estate tax challenge. I highly recommend it, especially if your situation is not too complicated

I appreciate the learning process Turbo tax programs provide, but was unable to upload statement to accompany the return (could not find the upload button anywhere), I called to get assistance, the representative's directions did not match what showed on my screen and suddenly the call was hung up... I was forced to file by mail...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good if your taxes aren't as complicated as mine I spent a lot of time with QuickBooks and TurboTax entering everything but then got stuck with some questions so I switched to the paid preparation service. The preparer had to start over from scratch and couldn't use anything I had already entered.
