Rated 1 out of 5 by from Took away free filing with IRS Please stop pretending like no longer being a part of the free filing program is a benefit to the public when we all know it is for your own profits. The explanation for why Turbo Tax / Intuit stopped being part of the free file program was an impressive attempt at spinning the narrative. Also, be careful because they charge $39 (as of tye2021) to use federal income taxes to pay the Turbo Tax fees.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Forced to buy TurboTax Live! Cheat on you. First time using browse to fill the return. I've been ripped off by last minute filing. Bought $74 premier, and end up paying $165 for TurboTax Live, that I talked to nobody after finishing filing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax works great Turbotax imported all the tax forms from my banks and brokers, and then walked me through everything I had to enter. I spent a lot of time verifying all the imported data and it was all correctly imported. I do wish Turbotax had a better report to summarize the values from all imported or entered tax forms on one consolidated report to make the verification process easier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is a RIP off!!! Purchased Montana state software for $50 only to be charged $25 to submit return and another $40 fee in addition to it. So a total of $115 to just submit a 2 month job in Montana when the tax owed was only $131 total.
