Rated 5 out of 5 by from East can be to do taxes I've been using Turbo Tax for several years. Great product. Remembers my income sources from year to year and gets a much better return than EVER. I used to do my own taxes and now I get double the returns. Much more than the purchase price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely satisfied If you own your own business or are an independent contractor the last thing you need to worry about is getting your taxes done. For a very reasonable fee these tax experts will do the job for you. They are very easy to work with. The only thing you have to do is respond to your tax rep when they have questions and upload the necessary documents for them to do their job. This is my first time doing taxes as self employed and I was really nervous about doing it. This service made it easier than doing regular taxes. If you get Michael you will be blessed he is amazing and I hope he is available to me next year!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hit some snags this year Some of the tax sharing information between TurboTax and other financial institutions was wildly inaccurate and required excess time and effort on my part, with little help from Live assistance. I had to generate CSVs other than those intended specifically for TurboTax in order to solve the issue myself, while 2 separate chats with personnel offered no helpful solutions

Rated 3 out of 5 by from easy to use for basic taxes but hidden fees I've used turbotax since I was 20 for my taxes and it's user friendly and effective for someone with a basic financial situation. HOWEVER every year it seems to get more expensive and the different options aren't clearly stated--just pop ups trying to upsell you throughout the process and then a bunch of fees showing up at the end, including a $39 fee just to have them take your OTHER fees out of your return. It ends up feeling scammy and manipulative, unfortunately. People shouldn't be surprised by what they're paying to have their taxes prepared.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pushing us to pay for deluxe or premium?!?! The only reason I have always used turbo tax is that it is free. However, that statement is becoming less accurate. I am basically being forced to pay for the "deluxe" service. This is good to know for next year when I have to file taxes again
