Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doing Tax Returns is STRESSFUL! I used to do my taxes on my own, as I couldn't afford an accountant, in my younger years. As things got more complicated, I switched to a nationally know tax preparer, that charged an enormous amount, and I was never quite sure I was getting the largest refund possible. For 3 years now, I've been using TurboTax, and while it still took me nearly 2 hours to complete, they walked me through every step and made sure that I received every tax break possible. While still stressful, TurboTax made it much easier and at a much more reasonable price.
