I would assemble all the numbers and hand it off. Now, I am retired and taxes are a bit simpler. I actually enjoyed the way Turbo tax thoroughly exams my situation.

I did encounter 2 incidents where I missed filling in some income and deduction information and had to go back to find the pages I needed to complete. These were social security income info and property taxes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT FREE or $30-$40 This service is not free or the advertised amount. It kept adding $40 the further I got, so in the end was $120 for the $30 option I choose. No way to adjust it, very dishonest and puts you in a corner requiring you to pay more.
