Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is good Filling out my taxes went smoothly and I thought when I completed them that they were e-filed by turbotax and have tried to check the status of my refund only to find out many weeks later that my taxes were NOT filed. Today a patient person helped me to solve the problem.

There are several areas, while navigating through the software, where they subtly try to get your consent to share your information with third parties, try to get you to sign up for credit karma, or other non-tax related services. Seems very deceptive, and difficult to get around.

Even though my income and tax situation has evolved over the years, TurboTax has always been my go-to partner for my family's tax preparation. The interface is familiar and easy to use, I can let TurboTax lead me through the process or do as much of it on my own as I want. TurboTax helps me make good financial decisions whenever the tax code changes by showing me what my options are. TurboTax helps me pay what I owe but nothing more!
