Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Experience I've Had This is the worst experience I have ever had with Turbo tax. This is my 7th year with Turbo Tax, and this year I was forced to pay a total of $80 for two things Turbo Tax has done for me before for free. I have been an enrolled student 6/7 years I have filed my taxes with them and have never had to pay to file tuition deductions. This year I was charge $40 for this, as well as $40 to file a state tax return, which I did in 2014 for free as well. Furthermore, I was forced to pay $40 for the deluxe version and was still not allowed to actually speak to a customer representative (spent 1 hour + trying to figure out how to talk to someone). I even ended up having to do my own math because they could not adequately explain to me how they did my return calculations. I will most likely not be using Turbo Tax again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Honest Review I am upset that this year you are unable to talk to a real person unless you upgrade. Last year and the years prior you used to be able to screen sharing and talk to someone over the phone. If you ask me turbo tax is starting to get stingy. I purposly do my taxes online myself because of the lower fees. But now it seems they are trying to compete with the other tax companies.
