Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much Improved Everything was much faster this year for me and I SUPER appreciate the bonus progress bar on top. Wording in explanations seemed to be clearer as well. The only thing was I did have to search for how to put in my estimated tax payments, which surprised me that that didn't come up naturally after I said I would have to pay them. However, the search bar took me easily to where I needed to go. Much better than last year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax IS AWESOME! I hate accounting, despise doing taxes every year, really hate paying accountants whose only interest is protecting their own. Turbo makes it easy, not painless, but as painless as it can be! Guides you through everything, maximizes returns better than any accountant!

Initially I went through another tax prep service that ended up tacking on almost $300 worth of fees that were required to file, despite claiming to be $55 the entire time I was working. The numbers also didn't seem right so I decided it was worth it to go through Turbo Tax and double check. Not only was Turbo Tax very upfront about costs and throughout the entire process explaining the benefit of the additions without pushing them, but they ended up finding HUNDREDS of dollars in deductions this other service missed. The other service also left me scratching my head at what should have been a very easy return and Turbo Tax couldn't have been more clear. Only regret is that I didn't START with Turbo Tax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax made easy It guided me right on through each phase. Made preparation simple. My only negative was the poor response to a question I had. The online chat couldn't answer it and the return phone call was about an hour later than they said it would be. Never did get an answer. Other than that, all was good.
