Rated 3 out of 5 by from Itemized Deduction vs. Standard Deduction After all information was input, the program suggested Itemized Deduction was the better option to choose, refunding $30 more. However, the system would not let me choose the "Itemized Deduction" and kept defaulting to the Standard Deduction. I spent hours trying to figure out why it would not let me toggle to Itemized Deduction since it would give me a greater return. After speaking to a representative and being with her on the phone for over an hour, she asked to call me back. She did (love Latoya!) and had figured it out. In Itemized Deductions, it took into account my total charitable donations. With a Standard Deduction, it will only allow you to take $300 for charitable donations, thus adding to the standard deduction and made it more. Anyway, the program should clarify WHY it kept defaulting to the Standard Deduction even though it kept saying Itemized Deduction was the way to go. A LOT of time spent on this today.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just keeps getting more expensive For the past 10 years I've filed with turbo tax, and it just keeps getting more expensive. I'm going to another service next year. Loyalty should get you discount, but I guess not.
