Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2021 Experience was much diminished over previous I've used Turbo Tax for almost 15 years. This year's was the worst experience I've had in a long time. In an effort to keep things simple, Turbo Tax just glossed over or skipped over items based on my prior year returns that I actually needed to change. It was difficult to figure out where in the process to intervene. Turbo Tax seems to retain some secret assumptions about you as a filer you cannot access and correct. I also couldn't find how to directly edit the forms to correct or override a few things that it insisted on populating incorrectly based on these weird assumptions. Still I give 3 stars because I was still able to complete my taxes including some complex income scenarios and multi-state split residency issues in only a matter of hours. I just wish Turbo Tax would still provide some more advanced or lower level access to the forms as an accessible option. It may be there but the online help and tools couldn't figure out what I was asking to direct me to it. Hope this is just a blip and TT is back in shining form next year.
