Rated 1 out of 5 by from Program fine to use/scammy about payment for help I've used the free version for years and had no issues. In 2022, I won a contest and wanted to declare it on my taxes. To do this, I had to upgrade to the paid version. Fine, said it was $39, seems a lot for one extra step, but whatever, I want to be honest. Go to pay for it and it's not $39, it's $78 because they charged for BOTH state and federal taxes individually. It may say it in the fine print, but I didn't see it and by the time I did, I had everything already done, so had little choice without having to go somewhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the best way to do your taxes! I really feel confident when I use Turbo Tax. It helps me to remember to use all of the forms that have and the new ones that I may have acquired that year. It's a great program and it gets better each year.
