I've used TurboTax for quite a few years now and will continue to use them because of how easy their platform is to use each year. Most of my information is already stored from previous years making it easy to complete returns faster each year. They give great explanations on anything you need through the little icons as you click through, which helps me understand taxes better overall. And lastly, they aren't very expensive - less than $150 for both federal and state for my personal situation. Recommend 100%!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive as all get out Filing taxes with TurboTax used to be easy and simple. Now, it's very complicated. I almost would like to go back to paper. TurboTax has also gotten VERY, VERY Expensive!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TURBO TAX IS AWESOME!!!!!! THIS WAS THE EASIEST WAY TO FILE MY TAXES, IT SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY AND THE STEP BY STEP GUIDANCE THAT THE WEBSITE PROVIDES WAS SUPERB. I USED ALL OF THE BASIC SERVICES PROVIDED AND IT WALKED ME THROUGH EVERYTHING THAT WAS NEEDED TO SUCCESSFULLY FILE MY TAXES. AT THE END I PAID THE FEES FOR USING THE SITE AND FILING 2 TAXES WHICH WAS 78 DOLLARS AND BOOM. I WAS THEN PROMPTED TO FIX MINOR MISTAKES MADE. THEY CHECKED AGAIN TO CONFIRM THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOOD AND THEN I WAS DONE. THIS EXPERIENCE GAVE ME A LOT OF CONFIDENCE IN FILING MY OWN TAXES. I USED TO BE SUPER SCARED TO DO IT MYSELF BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO MESS IT UP. WITH TUBOTAX I AM SUPER CONFIDENT AND SATISIFIED AND GOD EILLING I WILL BE FILING AGAIN WITH THEM NEXT YEAR!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Process smoother, forced options suck I've been using Turbotax online for the last 8 years, and haven't had many complaints. A lot of the systems are getting better, like the ability for them to read documents to get the pertinent information. The thing that does bother me is how they force you into a "Premium" subscription even if you don't want one. Help sites and forums don't actually effectively explain how to get out of it. It is very frustrating.
