Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Live Basic was so simple!!!!! The on-line software I used last year was not user friendly. When I received an invitation via email to try Turbo Tax, I did. I am so pleased with the ease of instruction, directives and completion. It could not have been simpler to use and I recommend it highly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unhappy to be Forced to File by Mail So... we get all the way though and we are forced to File by Mail due to the 7202 form - a simple form that every other tax preparation service is allowing to E-File. This is ridiculous and we are very unhappy with paying so much money to have to do everything ourselves. This is, essentially, a fresh, lovely new tax that self-employed business owners have to deal with. Thank you for not helping or giving us the option to file our taxes elsewhere. Next year, we're off to H&R Block or Tax Slayer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product The tax preparation software and live advice is AMAZING. The only reason for the one missing star are a few of the fees that aren't well explained. When choosing to pay from your federal refund, there is an additional $40 fee that covers direct transfer using an intermediary bank (???) something that is free already from the IRS. If you don't read the final documents you will miss it completely. Also - Turbo tax charges $40 to file your state taxes NO MATTER WHAT YOUR INCOME IS! For college students or others in lower income brackets who earn less than $10,000 a year Turbo tax should provide this service for free as other tax prep services like TaxAct do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo tax is the way to go I love using Turbo Tax. It's so easy and you can't beat the price. They have never made a mistake and I've never been audited.They walk you through every step and then transfer your federal info to the state. I would highly recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hidden fees are garbage. Don't pay for any of the extra bonuses like "plus or ultra" and if you do make sure you don't pay out of your federal refund or there is an EXTRA $40 fee applied. absolute garbage
