Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tax filing software, sets the standard. My experience with Turotax has been good this year as in past years. The software continues to be easy to use and I like that it saves information from your past returns. The expert I consulted with this year was great. My only criticism of Turbotax is that since I was divorced in the last couple of years I have had to access information from previous returns, which is extremely difficult because they make you create a new account and won't let you access your old account information unless you file this years' taxes under the old account, which is impossible. I have also noticed finding/looking at information on the forms while completing the process is much less complete and much more difficult than it was several years ago. I understand their desire/need to keep freeloaders from using their program to do their taxes and then opt out at the last minute, but I would rather that there was an option to pay up front/at the beginning of the process, so that I could have greater access throughout the process. I would definitely do that. I just want greater access to my past information and current information throughout the process.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is NOT free Despite only having 2 W2s, making less than $20,000.yr, and being a student, I still was not a "simple" enough filer for it to be free. Cost 40 because they forced me to use Deluxe and another 40 to file for a state return. Ridiculous
