Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo tax can't calculate state return correctly I have been using turbotax for years now. This will be the last year. My state return keeps getting rejected because their software keeps getting calculations wrong. I called them and they said they are waiting on the state to update on their end. That is wrong. I did my mom taxes using freetqx USA and her state return was accepted. Next year I'm going with free tax USA. It is cheaper and never an issue with my mom.

I had problems with other sites so switched to turbo tax and it was easy to use. This is my new to go to Tax people.

Turbotax provides tools to review your taxes, comb through any potential reductions you might have, and syncs your information from last year or even newly imported forms to make it hassle free. HOWEVER, Turbotax likes to charge for any and every feature. Every year I pay significantly more to file. Currently I am looking for other software that meets the quality to price ratio.
