Rated 2 out of 5 by from Got rejected cause 1095 from last year Got a call about rejection, had to fix my 2022 taxes, which was very hard to find out how to amend because the screen automatically takes you to a how to but not the actual page that needs fixing. One suggestion was that the user creates a false document to then delete it in one place then another l, which seemed redundant but I did and refilled. Now if the IRS still thinks I had insurance from last year, which I didn’t, because turbo tax included in 2022 tax’s for me (with out ever reviewing it to me when I filled) then I could get rejected again. It’s like thanks for looking out but don’t include docs I didn’t I don’t need or if you do then at least prompt a review section. They forget that we common folk relay on this little bit of tax money quite a bit and need it asap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product; some sleazeball tactics by Intuit It's a generally good product. Doing taxes is mostly painless. Sleazeball tactics by Intuit: Major: why does Intuit default to deducting the cost ($20) for e-filing a state tax return for a processing fee of $40?! That triples the cost of e-filing to $60! It would be sooo easy for someone to overlook this detail, and just press enter. Caveat emptor! Intuit has always been like this, and I would really like for them to stop. I would not trust Intuit to hold my drink. Minor: Why do we need to pay extra to e-file our state taxes even after paying extra for the state product? The e-filing charge should be included in the cost for the state product.
