Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely terrible! Wow. I’ve used TurboTax for years. This year was a horrible experience. First, they doubled my income several times (which made me have to owe ) I had to restart 3 times to make sure the info was put in correctly. Then, they charged me for the deluxe version, although that was not what I selected nor needed. My state taxes were rejected because of a “software update” and I ended up having to pay more on my state taxes. I figured if they decided to charge me for the deluxe version, they would at least catch all the “errors” and submit my state taxes correctly. I tried calling and asking the general questions on the website, they said a specialist would call me back in 18 minutes, so I waited, they called and an automated response said “this call would be recorded for customer service assurance ...” then it just hung up on me. The customer service phone line wouldn’t connect me to a representative. I have no idea what’s going on with my taxes or how much money they have taken from me to attempt to file. I am beyond irate and refuse to ever use this service again.
