Rated 1 out of 5 by from This years Turbotax is terrible It hangs every time I hit the help button, it refuses to accept the password for my keychain, and I haven't been able to correct its "errors". Im going t start over and use other software next year.

I requested help and was immediately connected to a real person. that was a very awesome thing to experience and the woman helping me was extremely patient kind professional and courteous her name is Terry Lynn and that woman needs a raise. She made this years tax experience not only very easy but also enjoyable!

It took me a few years to get used to not having to pore over the 1040 manual for hours and/or days and always searching for a pen that worked. I had to try it both the old way and the Turbotax way a few times before I became convinced that Turbotax got me exactly the same results with about 10% of the effort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful I've used TurboTax for a number of years now, mostly for the e-filing aspect, but it is also useful for trying to understand/digging up answers to some of the more difficult instructions. I've always done my own taxes, from the very first, and I used to do it with pen and paper. But my life is more complicated now, and while I STILL print out and double check everything before filing - because I find it easier to do with a printed page, and I like to check the math and make sure it's all logical - I have found the software useful for helping me understand the forms.

I am tax professional at Jackson Hewitt I have clients who come to about Turbo Tax and I wind up amending return. Client become JH customer.
