Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to Use We have been using Turbotax to do our taxes and we have always been very pleased. For 2020 we had an unusual situation but Turbotax walked us through everything and we've discovered we're getting a refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to use It keeps everything short and simple, you can get your W2's filed very fast. But despite this I have a complaint; It costs $0 to file if you don't have a 401K contribution, but if you do, TurboTax will stop you at a paywall just to add that one line. It cost me $40 for the deluxe fee, and another $40 for State fee, and they would have taken ANOTHER $40 if I let them take it from my refund instead of paying immediately. This is annoying, infuriating even. I do not need anything Deluxe TurboTax has to offer, and it takes no effort or resources for the TurboTax algorithm to add the 401K contribution to the return, there's no reason for it to cost so much money other than the usual- Corporation sees a consumer about to gain a lump sum of money and wants a piece of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easier than ever I did not have to complete itemeized deduction then have it compared to the standard deduction...it was prechecked by TurboTax that the standard dection was most favorable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Filing Difficulties Couldn't file with regular credit card pmt. Finally succeeded after 5+ hours of phone calls, trial and error, using Pay Pal. Was issued a Service Code which was entered but apparently not applied. You owe me for the inconvenience!
