Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is VERY EASY! As long as you have simple tax documents, this is an easy inexpensive way to file taxes! The second time I have done this for my mom who is over 80.

I started working on my taxes at the last minute (as usual) but this program is so easy to use that I finished quickly and was able to e-file on time. Love that explanations are offered all along the way, so I was confident that I understood each step and filled out information correctly. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now, and will continue to do so.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crap Service and Expensive These is nothing special about this service. Turbotax saved me no money and filing my taxes was a waste of time. Would have rather been billed by the government and not waste an hour out of my free day. On top of taxes I just paid a crap program to skip some typing, 108.00 in total just to file one state and federal. This will be the last year I use this service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be careful with TurboTax I didn't realize that we had defaulted to the more expensive option of self-employed even though both my husband and I are W-2 workers and we have a very basic file. By the time we realized that we were in the more expensive option, the only option was to clear the forms and start again. I'm disappointed that TurboTax, with all of its intelligent assistants, did not alert us that we didn't need the more expensive product and direct us to the product that was more appropriate given our work arrangements.
