Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really expensive, not free anymore It cost me $117 to file my taxes this year. I only got $146 back from my fed refund and california is charging me $15 for taxes, so turbo tax took almost my entire refund. I made less than $10,000 this year, I am a student and I can't afford losing $100, I went through with it because I thought I didn't have another option. I contacted support but they wouldn't issue a refund before I finished filing. I have always used turbo tax but I won't be using turbo tax anymore :(
