Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Return and More Informative Than H&R Block I am a long-time H&R Block customer, but may be switching over to TurboTax from now on. After finding that I owed a significant amount of money this year due to some complex stock sales, I upgraded my online services and went to 4 different H&R block locations for help answering my questions. No one could help me understand the tax amount due. So I tried TurboTax. Right from the beginning of putting in my stock sales I felt like I was in much better hands. Unlike H&R Block, TurboTax software actually differentiates between regular stock sales and ESPP sales. Because I entered my stock sales more accurately, my tax bill went down. Not only this, but the interface of TurboTax made each step much easier to follow and understand, even more so that chatting with a live H&R Block agent. Thanks TurboTax for helping me out with my 2020 taxes!
