Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Experience Ever As a new small business, doing our taxes for the first time was a little daunting. We decide to use TurboTax because we are using QuickBooks for our accounting. We could not find anywhere on the website to do our own taxes. There was no other option than to use a tax expert. A giant shook to us was how much it was going to cost. We ended up having to pay just over $1000.00 to get our taxes prepared and e-filed. Right at the start we had issues. We were assigned a tax expert and then were given a new one days later without speaking to us. We started the process in early March and did not actually get our taxes filed till the very last minute of April 18th. The only communication we had with our tax expert was through email. I really wish we could have spoke on the phone or better over a video call. The emails were few and far in between. We were only asked for two documents. We ran these reports through our QuickBooks account. If this is really all we needed we could have definitely done our taxes ourselves. She did not even find other destructions we could have missed. I also know for fact she did not use the information given to deduct our start up cost we incurred. Right there we lost money. Also because we did not finish our business taxes we had to file extensions on our personals taxes. We had to pay for a tax expert for both of our taxes and we had to pay estimated taxes costing us another $1200. We still don't even know how much in taxes we owe on our business taxes. This was the worst experience ever. We will be finding another option for filing our taxes this year

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT ALL FREE FREE FREE I had to pay more for my state when i clicked on the free verison. does this not apply to business accounts? not happy wit fees and when i wanted o get a savings bond those did not come last year. Moving only helps if youe in The Military
