Rated 5 out of 5 by from TT makes the complex tax code understandable Filing Federal Income Tax gets more complicated and difficult every year, especially for us "seniors". TT reduces tax-filing decision-making down to a yes, no, confirm or continue in many if not most instances. Pre-loading info is a great time saver. The sidebar is available for more info on virtually every subject, eliminating the need to do a search for it and much more reader friendly than typical government documents.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shady- doesn't allow you to change out of deluxe I already did another review, but I've been happy with TurboTax before, and mostly used the free version since my taxes are pretty simple and straightforward. This year I got into the deluxe level (since I have an IRA and answered the contributions questions) but when I wanted to revert back to the free version there was no way to do it! Also, it wasn't clear that I'd be charged twice (for both federal and state returns). Every step feels like a sales pitch.
