Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Needs Improvement for Turbo Tax Premier The methodology for handling oil and gas royalties from Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is inadequate. BLM mails a 1099 MISC form reporting income. But on a separate white page, included, BLM reports other types of income and expenses. The depletion allowance on BLM's white page does not conform to depletion allowance calculated by Turbo tax. There are other places to find the various expenses and incomes in Turbo Tax, but it will take a couple of hours and more to find them. When showing the results for the standard deduction for 2022 vs 2021, Turbo Tax places, for example, vehicle registration fees of 2022 under 2021 and zero for 2022. The section referring to the retirement minimum distribution is confusing. I receive a monthly retirement allowance. It is a qualified retirement plan I am under. The RMD you refer to is for a traditional IRA. Wish you could clarify this section.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Return with Several K-1's Overall excellent. However, Support for K-1 forms is not seamless and sometimes confusing. Cannot import from .txf files all relevant items from K-1 (especially Line 20 items). Handling of royalty income from partnerships K-1 and associated depletion credits is confusing. Must manually enter when multiple sources of K-1 income (boxes 1,2,3) present.
