Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good tax prep software I have used TurboTax for many years to prepare and submit our federal and state taxes. I find it very good at assembling my different W2's, 1099's etc. I always double check the "black box" uploading operations to make sure I can make sense of where the numbers are placed in the tax forms and it always seems to make sense. I could possibly do the forms myself, but with enough difficulty that I find TT to be worth the money. Plus the electronic filing is efficient. I wish they did not spend quite so much time trying to upsell me on advisory services, but it is just slightly annoying to keep saying NO! And I wish they had better systems for estimating tax scenarios for the next year.

Not that I am getting a refund, but it would still be nice to know there was no need for this info. Also, where is the file button? Or since I don't owe/receive I don't need to file????? This should be explained.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax wants you to upgrade :) Every step of the way they asked me if I wanted to upgrade. I was not even allowed to enter in my information about door dash mileage to save myself some money without paying an extra $119 dollars. In the end I got my taxes done, but I would find it easier to go to H and R block or have someone else do it. They do keep track of your W-2's though so that is super convenient. They also have all your information from previous years so it is super quick and easy.
