Rated 3 out of 5 by from Newly added exorbitant fees, no longer free I have used Turbotax for 6 years in a row, each year it has been a free service or one-time filing fee of $59 for state filing. Now they charge $59 for federal, $59 for state, and an additional $44 for "premium" just to scalp you of more money.. So all of this comes out to a whopping $162 for a simple tax refund. You might as well print out the IRS forms and mail it in yourself if you want to see any real money back. I will not be using Turboax's service any longer after this year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unexpected fee I've been using Turbotax for years, this was the first time I downloaded the deluxe version. I don't recall having to pay an efiling fee online in previous years, but perhaps I'm not remembering correctly. That said, since I paid for the 5 fed/1 state filing, I was expecting the cost to be final. I wasn't expecting an additional $25 efiling fee to show up at the last minute. Not satisfied.
