Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbotax is very useful I have used it for several years and it makes much easier to make the returns than making it without, at home. The last year it became a little less clear at certain points than it was earlier, but maybe it is due to the changing return requirements.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More Accurate than My Last Tax Accountant I've used Turbo Tax for many year and am a big fan of Intuit's work. The past 2 years, I used an accountant because my tax picture had become complex. Although I did not file with Turbo Tax those years, its calculations were more accurate than the accountant's! I did run into a hiccup with Turbo Tax this year with a conversion from an IRA to a Roth IRA (TY 2022) and it was frustrating to find that the online help and forums were not as helpful as they should have been. I ended up researching information directly from the IRS help files and then making manual corrections to the return. Hence the 4-star rather than 5-star rating. Fortunately, I got it right at last and the Turbo Tax Review found no errors. I'm hoping this specific issue gets fixed for next year! If your tax picture isn't complex and you're willing to roll up your sleeves, Turbo Tax is a great tool.
