Rated 3 out of 5 by from Never gets any better, only gets more expensive I've been using the online version of TurboTax for years. Overall I find the interface cumbersome as it tries to simplify things too much. I'd rather have straightforward forms for entering information than going through wizard after wizard, and having to answer the same questions repeatedly just to change one entry at a later time. In addition, the inability to "go to forms" as with the desktop product is annoying. This year, they also raised the price of the equivalent product I've been using for years, while providing no newer benefits. Features like "Race Mode" are ridiculous, and guaranteed to induce errors as people zoom through their return process. I'd rather have this thing be affordable, straightforward and accurate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax mostly user-friendly Did both my own and my housemate's returns for US and state on Turbotax this year. Had used Turbotax in the past but not for about 8 years. This year, found that many of the helpful notes were easier to understand. In general, enjoyed going through each topic and feeling that all the necessary bases were being covered. My biggest frustration was not being able easily to get back to a page I had just left (even though I clicked on "continue from where you left off" at startup, or hit "back" on the page I'd gone to look something up); or getting back to a specific page to add information I'd skipped--finally learned to use the "edit" buttons, but had to get back to the basic page for each business or category that had the edit button on it.
