Rated 1 out of 5 by from Charge Secret Fees at the End Everything was good until they started trying to charge me for filing. Then I was forced to choose the $59 option, and then right at the end after an hour of work, I was forced to choose the $119 option. I won't be using again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Missing One Thing Have used turbo Tax for over 10 years. It makes the tax return much easier than doing it by hand. There is only one issue that I have raised in the past - the software has no way to allow me to enlarge the fonts. It makes it very difficult to be able to read everything on the screen. Most other software products have this feature. Why not Turbo Tax?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A few bugs At final Fed review we kept getting a form to deal with, a 1099 for railroads. It wouldn't go away, couldn't enter zeros, had to call support. No railroad box was checked throughout our return but there it was anyway. Huge hassle. ALSO, import from a financial institution was incorrect, no way to edit so support said I'd have to delete and start the return over, entering info manually. Scary that imports can't be trusted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is good Intuit tax preparer is very good but still has a few glitches. When it comes to folks who have worked for the federal government and were paid via OPM there are several boxes to select from for payees and the "most common" one has more than 17 boxes to fill in. When in reality, most federal and military retirees receiving a 1099R have the form that only has 6 actual blocks that are of concern, even though they are numbered up to 16. In our situation, our initial filing for 2021 had us receiving a @2,000.00+ refund, however upon review we ended up paying more than $1,400.00. When it came to filing our 2022 Turbo Taxes it reflected a refund of $1,400.00 in Federal taxes instead of us owing and no real way to adjust this when we tried filing this year.
