The only issue I had was with my non-resident state income tax forms. Unlike other tax software, Turbo Tax did not lead me into paying thousands of dollars in taxes to states where I earn rental income but owe no tax on my wages however, TT was not completely intuitive in the process. As a military member, the non-resident tax documents have always given me a tough time, just wish there was a tool out there for this specific situation, which is common for military.

Spent 2 hours with customer service, finally we gave up and downloaded from web site. When trying to pay for State e-file, Turbo web could not recognize me, have to go on as a guest. when I brough up the web site from different window it automatically signed me on. So, you need to fix the interface between Turbo Tax and the payment system for e-file.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
