Rated 3 out of 5 by from COSTLY When I first started using turbotax it cost significantly more than it does now. I wont be using it anymore. Also, turbotax consistently asks to upgrade to a more expensive version of the software. I thought I had declined the deluxe edition but at the end when I put my card in to pay, it charged me for the deluxe version. SO, now I have to contact somebody to have it credited back to my account because I did not want to do the deluxe version. The main reason I didnt want to do a different software was because turbotax had my history already in its system. I knew it was going to cost more than competitors but did not realize how much.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Usually great but not this year Was just about to file and the software somehow duplicated all of my 1099s. Also the software showed errors that weren't errors so I had to fool it by entering spaces in boxes.

I got interrupted while filing and when I came back I thought I was done with income. The system should raise a red flag and ask if you still get social security. You have not entered any amount. What are you really checking with all those spinning circles?
