Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not free after all I got forced to buy an upgrade because apparently my taxes were "advanced" somehow even though they were the same as last year which is very basic nothing has changed on top of that I got charged $40 because I chose the option to take that upgrade charge out of my refund. That needs to be known before or when someone makes that choice. I went to turbo tax so I could get ALL of my money back which I desperately need If i wanted to pay $100 I would of just had someone do my taxes for me. Instead I had to do all the work and still paid $100. I am not happy. Doubt I'll use this next year

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax 2020 Home&Bus has issues with $10,200 UCE I filed in Feb before the $10,200 Unemployment Compensation Exclusion. When I opened The Feb 2021 file opened in June it showed a different refund than I filed for because it had updated software before opening file. I had PDF copy. I need to amend my filing but it told me I did not need to but allowed me to proceed with my revised $1224 refund. It then gave me no way to ask for the refund to be direct deposited and I had to accept a mailed refund check.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbotax is getting worse each year! Turbotax should know that first year filers cannot file electronically, because there is no prior year AGI to match. Took my state filing money and no service provided. I noticed there were in excess of 45 people complaining about this very same thing. Intuit is cleaning up on free money. I am reporting them to the IRS and the State!
