Rated 3 out of 5 by from It Is taxes!!! Should be easy. It is expensive. I do not understand why it cost so much. We make less then $50000 and it cost almost $200. Why? Also It is confusing at points. I co uld not claim my Kansas tax reduction because I could not understnd what to do. Also it should be easier then what it is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax online I thought this year was much more difficult compared to last couple of years. I was unable to open forms to check items that I had input into my taxes to make sure that I had included all the items and the numbers were correct. At the end after paying (again), I was able to open the forms. When attempting to e-file my state taxes, I was unable to e-file even though I had paid what was owed as stated on the page following the instructions. So I needed to print the state return, good thing I had access a printer. When calling the turbo tax number for assistance...it was very frustrating, as I was on the phone for over 45 mins with the issue not being resolved as to how to input code that I had not to be charged. Only having to call back the next day....I was charged for using Turbo tax online even though I had followed earlier instructions received when calling initially and following the instructions given as I had purchased the program earlier at a much lower price at Costco. Now I need to file a refund request and wait for the funds...ugh!!!!!! Hopefully I will get reimbursed without any more hassles!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is helpful and effective. I have used TurboTax for over 20 years. The system was really helpful and effective from the start, and it has gotten progressively better. It also has gotten progressively more expensive! I like the way it organizes the requests for needed information. I wish there were fewer questions about esoteric details, but they may be required by the tax laws and the differences between federal and state rules.
