Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm Never Going Back The last time I tried filing myself, I had a question and went to one of those accounting services (rhymes with "Crock"). I was earning interest on a personal loan and I wasn't sure how to handle it. The accountant I talked to wasn't exactly sure either. That was the first year I used Turbo Tax and never looked back. Like all great software, Turbo Tax is intuitive. The process of filing is now so ridiculously easy, I almost look forward to it (almost). I highly recommend this to everybody I know!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Bit Pricey I’ve used this tool for years. It has become too expensive and I will look at alternative filing options for the next year. I also find it a bit annoying to continue to have the optional services pushed after saying no.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Program with one minor Glitch I've used Turbotax for many years and always come back. It gives me the confidence that my taxes are done correctly, and I don't worry about audits. This year I had one annoying hiccup when I was all done and trying to e-file. It would not transmit due to an update to the software that did not come into my MAC version automatically. There were no instructions that were helpful in how to locate the update. I finally found what I needed when I asked the question on Google. Simple answer - wish it had been included in the actual Turbotax program where the issue was identified. Otherwise, no problems.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok but don't trust Turbo Tax Turbo Tax as a whole is not bad but they tend to lead you towards things that they want you to do that gives them more money. They make it very hard to File by mail for State returns. They do that so they can get $25 from you to eFile.

Kept locking me out of my account and making me wait too many minutes to do over even after proving by text and email that it is me....Also, my brother could not do turbo tax because it would never let him create an account. Assuming because using the same computer. Really dumb.
