Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lost confidence in Turbotax For the price and everything I have to do in TurboTax, I believe my best option is to pay a professional. Even though I e-filed, TurboTax is still telling me I need to print and mail forms. I found this to be confusing and as a result I feel there may be an error in my taxes. If I am E-filing, why do I still need to print anything and mail. On top of that, TUrbo Tax said it was unable to print the forms I supposedly need. I am very confused and very uncertain if my returns are correct. The online guidance is not always very clear. I will have to seriously consider whether I will use TurboTax again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Expensive for a simple retrun This is my 15th year (and last) using TurboTax. There is no way a simple return should cost $59 to file and additional $59 for the state. I only had two w-2s, two interest incomes and the standard deduction. Because the total interest was above $1,500 I had to purchase the deluxe after going through the free Fed/State.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For Simple Returns, Turbo Tax is simple to use. My tax filing is simple. But, that being said, I am NOT an accountant and therefore I'm not up to speed on how to pay the least while getting the most. So, Turbo Tax is my "go to" source for quick and easy filing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They actually sell this crap Very poorly constructed. Horribly redundant, does not default to obvious answer, instead pesters the poor user to death. For example if you say you have lived in NYC for the entire year, you have NOT lived in Yonkers. If you lived and paid taxes in NYC you probably did not pay taxes in Yonkers, so the answer should default to know. The proverbial monkeys at a typewriter could probably construct software as good a these hacks have.
