Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is tolerable, but just barely Last year I found a bug in Turbo Tax online and the TT experts couldn't figure out how it happened. They had to give me the computer version (albeit for free, since I had already paid for the online version) so I could edit the worksheets/forms manually. This year, when I went to save my return with all the worksheets and forms, Credit Limit Worksheet A was not included, even though a number from that worksheet was used on my return. Who knows how many other worksheets were not included.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Premium Service Benefits Fee Is Shady Turbotax is nice and simple, but of course they are always trying to upsell random products they have. The last straw was adding in the premium service benefit fee at the end. Apparently this fee occurs if you elect to have your fees removed from your federal tax return amount. They do not mention this fee at the time that it gives you this option. I went crazy trying to figure out where this fee came from.

The only reason for a deduction in a star is because every year I have to look up and fix an issue with the keychain password for Mac problem with ItsDeductible. It is always a pain to fix and I have to do it each year.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and it’s easy to retrieve and compare past tax submissions without scrambling to locate the appropriate paperwork yourself. There are resources to explain tax situations in more detail for better clarification and decisiveness, and many opportunities to review, modify, or add information before filing. It’s reassuring to know they will be there for advice, guidance, and support if you are audited. I can sleep peacefully tonight knowing I filed with a company that has never betrayed my trust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to use! I've used Turbo Tax for 8 years now and the interface has improved year over year. User experience is seamless. It has great features that explain financial inputs and assists with trouble shooting, albeit cryptocurrency was tricky this year. I used a 3rd party website to input those calculations via the website/banking data share feature. I logged in and it was easliy inputted. I also appreciate the double checking and error checks.
