Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some confusion regarding printing returns Did the job with some confusing areas. The program should have let you know the estimated taxes were done automatically. There didn't seem to be an easy way to account for an expected increase in income for spouse now receiving Social Security, so I ended up just leaving it out and expecting a larger amount owed next year. I had to print our 43 pages, when I really only wanted to print out the basic Federal and State Returns plus Vouchers for payment and estimated taxes. It would have been too laborious to try to isolate the pages that I didn't need to print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from getting easier every year I had to call turbotax help line this year because I was getting a 1603 error code. I still don't know what caused the error code to occur after I had successfully used the program for 2 other returns, but the help line was able to guide me through the process, and my returns were completed and submitted electronically.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo tax needs improvement turbotax does not retain the information input regarding the status of retirement income received. all my retirement income is untaxed in PA because it is from approved plans and i am of an eligible age. even though i make these choices for each 1099-R received and "save", when i leave TT and come back, no coices have been retained and i must re-choose them again for each account.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way Less Expensive than Hiring an Accountant! Pretty straightforward. Preparation and collection of necessary forms is key. There were a few areas that kept cycling me back to the same place, but I finally figured out how to get past them. Electronically connecting to financial institutions needs improvement and less repetition to the same institution.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little worried I decided to go back and walk through each step on my own...turns out TurboTax was missing a giant chunk of a potential refund because it failed to walk me through the steps. Be careful! There are more options and links embedded in the program.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trouble with the CARES charitable Contributions TT wouldn't allow my cash contributions. It seemed to want me to put $0, when I was allowed $600. I kept trying to change the number and request help but there was no useful help. I had to search outside of TT and there was still not much help. Ultimately, I fixed it. I was asked how much Cash early on. Later I was asked for my charities. I entered cash and household items. The cash (excluding household items) in this section didn't equal my initial number, since I found another receipt. So once I got both numbers equal, I was allowed to continue.
