Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better Had a w-2 section that stated if it was blank it was ok to leave blank but then kept flagging it to be filled out and wouldn’t let me e-file until it was filled out even though it’s blank on my w-2, rather annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Relatively convenient, but a little buggy I found most of the process pretty straightforward, and I am self-employed and have lots of stock transactions to deal with. I am however childless, yet TurboTax insisted I fill out some forms regarding child tax credits, which I just ended up filling with a bunch of 0's. Waste of a form, no idea why it came up when it never has in the past, and it unnecessarily complicates my return for whomever is checking it, if it does get checked. Slightly worried it may increase my odds of being audited since the forms are filled out kinda weird. All in all, I would likely use TurboTax again next year unless the competitors come up with some super compelling reasons to switch.
