Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax is not as good as in the past! Many of the explanations are far from clear these days (perhaps because the tax code is getting too complex?). Plus I absolutely detest the upsells that go on in this software. Very likely that next year, I'll try to find a new way to file as a result of this experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loyal customer for over 10 years I've been doing my own taxes for over ten years now. I've had very simple returns and some very complicated returns throughout the years. If I had any questions I can ask the experts but for the most part everything is straight forward. Every year it seems that it get easier and easier... what helps me is that I write everything down with notes so next years makes it even easier to do (especially for those more complicated years).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax longtime customer left dissapointed I am a longtime customer of Turbo Tax. I have been a full service customer for three years now. My first two years of full service were amazing, everything I wanted. This year I wish I could say the same. My tax expert took nearly 30 days to complete my return, leaving me to repeatedly ask for updates every few days. In previous years my expert had the entire return completed in about 3 days. I was very worried that my return was forgotten/not completed so I ended up having to speak with customer service on two separate occasions to get my tax expert's attention. They finally got back to me after being on hold for 40 minutes with a customer service representative. I nearly had to cancel and find other means to file my return.
