Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed While still an easy way to file taxes, I'm astonished at how much the price for doing so has continued to increase over the years. Having to pay for using my refund to pay for the original payment-- $40 at that? What for? It never seemed to be an issue for the many years I've filed and just seems like a way to suck more money out of you in the end. They put on the facade that they're a cheap filing system and then just tack on fees throughout the entire process. I won't be using turbotax next year and unfortunately it was my only choice as of right now. We deserve more back from our taxes-- not have it go toward unnecessary payments (i.e. making a payment ON A PAYMENT?!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommended I have used TurboTax a handful of times over the past several years and I have never had an issue. The only years that I did not use them was when I was in financial hardships and needed a refund advance, which I was able to obtain through H&R Block same-day up to $3500. If I find out that TurboTax offers this, I would never need to use any other company. The filing process is very user-friendly and makes the process like a step-by-step walkthrough. Highly recommend
