Rated 1 out of 5 by from For few years now, the automated import is broken Overall the software is great at going through my complex tax situation. I just wish I didn't have to input all of my forms manually as the automated import has been broken for few versions of TurboTax now. This year I attempted to import 1099-INT and 1099-DIV from few of my banks and the software would crash after trying to review the imported entries. I've made 4 attempts trying to split the imports into smaller parts, but it wouldn't work. Waste of my time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I did both H&R and Turbo Tax. They were both to $$ This year I tried both of the main Tax apps. They both came up to identical final numbers. I did pay Turbo Tax for their product, mainly I was tired of doing my taxes. The cost of the State tax form is ridiculous in price by both companies. But it is what they feel they can charge and by me buying it, I guess they can. Like the farmers believe. NEXT YEAR WILL BE BETTER!
