Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax Needs to Do Better Every year they advertise in such a way that it makes filing your state tax seem to be free until you get to the very end and start to file, then they show you the charges. While I appreciate the complexity of their program(s), if I am going to pay for their software on an annual basis I should NOT have to pay to file my state tax return (unless I file more than one, in which case I would expect to pay for any additional returns).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from EXPERT TAX PREPARER I've been using turbo tax for years. Using this service is good and beginner friendly. especially if you've been on your job for a long period of time. I've always had a simple return up until this year but you know what, it wasn't as hard as it could've been had I not had all my tax documents handy.
