Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does TurboTax keep getting worse? 8th year doing this and everytime it feels more painful. Especially dislike how they try to upsdell and side sell produts that are based on the fear having screwed up your taxes. Isn't the point of using TurboTax to feel confident that taxes are done properly?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Been using it for a few years Although i wished i understood it better i feel this is the best option for me to file my taxes. So areas need more explanation and I need to be able to access the documents without having to leave one page to go to the other.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tedious but helpful the visuals make me feel like it is not so bad. I have a very common tax situation. Only thing that I found very annoying was the consent agreement asking for my data, as well as the extra charges they try to give me of $59. Also it costs an extra $40 to pay for turbo tax through your refund. These extra payments get suggested as you fill out the form, so be careful to not click on accident as you are filing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hidden Fees are annoying Good--good deal overall; was quick and kept it simple; I liked the option to go through all the items or to choose particular ones. The list price should be what it costs; I paid $60 at the store; not cool that there were another $60 worth of hidden fees; it also seems overly eager to add "Audit Defense" to my account which I don't want.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Does Not Handle Option-writing Well I wasted an hour confirming that the cost basis is zero for the options I wrote. The cost basis is always zero, as far as I know, for options I write.
