Rated 3 out of 5 by from Schedule K-1 needs improvement TT says that when values shown on K-1 lines 1 and 2 that a separate K-1 should be submitted for each. However, it is not clear if all the info in lines 4 thru 21 should be repeated for the multiple instances of the K-1. Live agent said that it did need to be repeated, but that ends up showing duplication of some income. Also the online version does not allow import of .txf file due to a software bug which would have make this easier, only the desktop version works for the import.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from turbotax made a horrible mistake last year Last year I submitted my income tax using TurboTax and your software caused a $3000 overpayment in my federal income tax. I cannot trust your software and no one has even apologized or offered a refund for making such a terrible mistake. Thankfully the IRS reviewed the return and told me the exact line you filled out wrong and sent me a $3000 check. I'm very disappointed with your company considering I've been a customer for over 15 years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Disappointing I've used TurboTax since the ChipSoft days -- close to 40 years. I do 1040's, 1041's, and 1120's, as well as California 540's, 541's, and 568's. I used to think TurboTax was an excellent piece of software. But it seems that each year it is a little worse than the previous year. There are so many bugs. So many things that don't work. Woefully inadequate Help information. I cringe wondering if I will be able to figure out workarounds for the things that don't work. At least, TurboTax is not insulting and offensive the way QuickBooks is. But it is not the product it once was.
