Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good service but with all the free competition... The price needs to come down if I am to continue using this service. Especially with all the free service out there. United Way has VITA all over my town, I wish I had tried them instead this year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo tax is lacking Took us forever, we felt constantly barraged with requests for more money. We paid $69 to be able to get access to help and never used it-you have to pay ahead of time for things that you don't know if you will need or not. We purchased Turbo tax at Sam's Club and then entered the code but were not credited for the $95.88 we had already paid. We were directed to fill out another form to try to recoup that money, so we will see. Using Turbo Tax was incredibly stressful for us!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time using premier As usual, Turbo Tax is a great product. I had a special case this year selling an inherited home. I was a little disappointed the when I selected "Selling a home" it assumed I was selling my primary residence, which I was not. I could not find a way to get it to understand this was not my primary residence I was selling. To resolve the issue I ended up looking up some of the instructions and forms on irs.gov on how to handle this situation to handle the capital gains from the time I inherited the house to the time I sold it. I figuring out what Turbo Tax option filled in those forms but it was not obvious from the menus. Kind of had to reverse engineer it to make it work. In the end, I got it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Awesome Great and easy to use tools, expenses tools are awesome.. you just need to input your bank account which a great help and saves time. live support is great. Last one I talked to was a bit chatty and unnecessary to be honest, ended up exiting chat. first two I talked Kim L and Lori were great. straight to the point and answered questions promptly and solved issues quickly. love that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax Live Experts are the BEST!! I couldn't have done it without the TurboTax live experts. I used to use TurboTax and I didn't need experts. It was set up for tax dummies like me. It asked me Yes/No questions and if I said Yes, it opened another window. The present TurboTax has confusing language; it gives you the choice of Start or Review, without explaining that if you don't need that part of the software, you don't press either Start or Review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Going downhill The non-stop ads for extra services and how difficult you make it to decline the extra services is ridiculous. Entering Schedule K-1 information is annoying--have the re-enter the adjusted cost basis multiple times rather than having it transfer from one K-1 entry to the next. It also does not inspire confidence that you push me to file a Florida income tax return, saying you can maximize my deductions, when Florida does not have income tax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Peasy! I have always had a tax preparer whether is was one of the big box services or a CPA. This year, I did it myself with Turbo Tax and it was so easy. Step-by-step instructions, check-ins to be sure and all.
