Rated 2 out of 5 by from Trash tbh Doing any sort of easy tax return, which most people do, doesn't justify the price involved. The only service TurboTax actually provides is some software that just copies info from one document to another, which anyone can do in ten minutes anyway, and then processing the payment. Why they think they deserve well over $100 to do that is beyond me, but that's the scam I guess. It's trash, and full of goofy "tee-hee" moments that are actual cringe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy but Hard Overall the entire process was fairly easy. The most difficult portion of inputting the information were for investments, such as form 1099-B and 1099-DIV, along with input for the ROTH IRA.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Challenging and Expensive Turbotax has gotten more complicated and used to be free. I can have an actual person do both my taxes and my finances taxes for the same price as one persons taxes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Review I had a lot of trouble using a program that I should have been able to share with my brother. Their license key would not work because I was operating from a different computer and he had used the disc to install. The helpline's solution did not work. I ended up buying my own software. I give it 2 stars out if 5.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed this year Because I bought a new computer I was unable to install Turbo Tax from the previous years I purchased the product even though I didn't fully use my licenses. No help from Customer Support, just sorry. No link to download my already paid for earlier year software and data. The result was frustrating because the program didn't import certain historical data which was time consuming to enter manually. Had I known, I might not have purchased it for preparing my 2022 taxes. There was also a confusing question in the beginning of the CT state tax return regarding a state income tax adjustment. I spent an hour with a Tax Expert who couldn't help me so I ended the call and called back later hoping someone qualified would help me, and they did so immediately. My day started out Turbol, but it got better.
