Again this year, it didn't recognize me and didn't pull up my previous years' information (this is not the first time!). So, I had to reenter it ALL again...name, married, address, SS#s,etc. What a waste of time! 2. The Turbotax cost has gone up immensely! My wife and I are retired & on a fixed income...should be some compensation for that. And, do I really need the Premier edition...after all these years? 3. You asked if I had an IRS IP PIN (I answered yes), but you never asked for it. So...just like last year, my return will probably be rejected, and I'll have to enter it at some point. this should be an easy fix...if anyone reads this anyway!

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
