However, the interface with for instance TD Ameritrade failed and similarly the effort to pay for state electronic filing took hours. In short, improve the interface with third parties.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
